Although our first glimpse of Magic Mike and True Blood actor as a super-villain was in the post-credits scene of 2017’s Justice League (unless you count his role as Flash Thompson in Sam Raimi’s 2002 Spider-Man), the disappointing box-office numbers for Justice League and the departure of Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman from the DCU has left a sequel to the film in a very precarious situation.

Manganiello isn’t ready to hang up his supervillain tights just yet, however. The 42-year-old actor recently appeared on the Lights, Camera, Pod show where he revealed which Spider-Man villain he’d like to bring to life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Kraven? Are you kidding me? That would be, like, a dream role,” Manganiello said in the interview. Although nothing has been made official yet, Spider-Man: Far From Home director Jon Watts has mentioned has already expressed his interest in using Kraven the Hunter as a villain in his next Spider-Man film.

Manganiello certainly has the physique and the look to play the tortured, physically enhanced big game hunter Sergei Kravinoff. Do you think Manganiello would make a good Kraven the Hunter? Let us know in the comments.
