If you’re a Star Wars fan and you’re going to New York Comic Con this year, you don’t want to miss out on these events. Today, NYCC announced the Star Wars Fan Club Experience, where five Star Wars fan clubs will come together for “costumes, props, photo opportunities, and fun.”
The list of clubs, courtesy of New York Comic Con, are as follows:
501st Legion: Empire City Garrison. Stormtroopers, Sith Lords and Vaders, Oh my! The 501st Legion might represent the Dark Side of the Force, but their charitable efforts raise money for charities all over the world. Come “Blast A Trooper” and contribute to their latest cause.
Empire Saber Guild: Padawan learners will pick up tips and training on how to wield a lightsaber as a Jedi. The Empire Saber Guild shares their love of Star Wars with people of all ages, and spreads hope, good will, and a little bit of wonder wherever they go.
Rebel Legion: Representing the “good guys” of the Star Wars galaxy, the Rebel Legion will have costumes and props on display. Their charitable work is global, with Rebel “bases” in countries all over the world.
Mandalorian Mercs: Fantastic and individualized armor is a hallmark of the Mandalorian Mercs, a global costuming club inspired by bounty hunters in the Star Wars galaxy. Individual expression is encouraged, and charitable appearances and efforts for communities the norm.
Droid Builders: The rolling, beeping Astromech droids (think R2-D2) will not be hard to spot at Annex 37. Creating movie-real droids, the Builders enjoy building, rolling, and racing droids, and helping others do the same.

We hope to see you there!
